El legendario buque escuela de la Marina Militar italiana, el Amerigo Vespucci, está listo para conquistar la Gran Manzana. Este impresionante velero, famoso a nivel mundial por ser catalogado por la marina estadounidense como "el barco más hermoso del mundo" , llegará a Nueva York para participar en una histórica celebración.
El próximo 4 de julio, el barco formará parte de la Sail4th250, un espectacular desfile naval en el río Hudson que conmemora los 250 años de la Independencia de los Estados Unidos. Junto a más de 50 grandes veleros de todo el planeta, recorrerá desde el puente Verrazzano hasta el George Washington, pasando frente a la icónica Estatua de la Libertad.
¿Qué pasará a bordo?
Además de su rol diplomático y cultural , el Vespucci albergará eventos increíbles en el Pier 86 (junto al Museo Intrepid):
Iconos del mar: Se exhibirá el trofeo de la America's Cup, la copa deportiva más antigua del mundo, traída directamente desde Nueva Zelanda.
Cultura y sabor: Presentaciones de la famosa feria de vinos Vinitaly.USA y encuentros especiales dedicados a la bellísima ciudad de Génova.
¡Lo mejor de todo es que puedes visitarlo! El barco abrirá sus puertas al público para recorridos gratuitos. Solo debes registrarte previamente en su web oficial.

A Piece of Italy in New York!
The legendary training ship of the Italian Navy, the Amerigo Vespucci, is ready to conquer the Big Apple. This impressive tall ship, world-famous for being dubbed by the U.S. Navy as "the most beautiful ship in the world," will arrive in New York to participate in a historic celebration.
On July 4th, the ship will be part of Sail4th250, a spectacular naval parade on the Hudson River commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Independence of the United States. Alongside more than 50 tall ships and naval vessels from around the globe, it will sail from the Verrazzano Bridge to the George Washington Bridge, passing right in front of the iconic Statue of Liberty.
What Will Happen on Board?
In addition to its diplomatic and cultural role, the Vespucci will host incredible events at Pier 86 (next to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum):
Icons of the Sea: The America's Cup trophy—the oldest international sporting trophy in the world, brought directly from New Zealand—will be on display.
Culture and Flavor: Presentations of the famous Vinitaly.USA wine fair and special meetings dedicated to the beautiful city of Genoa.
